GLS and DB Schenker Logistics form partnership on European level

The GLS Group and DB Schenker Logistics have signed a strategic partnership agreement on European level. The companies assist each other in their transport services: GLS will expand its offer of freight services and DB Schenker Logistics will offer a Europe-wide parcel service. The framework agreement for the non-exclusive cooperation was signed in early September.

Israel Post is latest GLS partner

The GLS Group now delivers parcels for Israel Postal Company Ltd. (Israel Post) throughout Europe. The cooperation began in May of this year, initially for Israeli B2B deliveries. Bilateral expansion of the collaboration is planned.

GLS introduces flexible delivery in Luxembourg

The parcel service provider GLS has now also made its FlexDeliveryService available in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Parcel recipients using the service can influence time and place of delivery according to their personal requirements. Luxembourg is the 13th country in which GLS has introduced this service.

GLS expands its international service for parcel recipients

Online shops can now offer their international customers the ShopDeliveryService, allowing them to choose a GLS ParcelShop as their delivery address. Through the service, GLS has created cross-border connections across five countries: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Poland.

Flexible delivery for parcel shipments between Belgium, Germany and Austria

Transnational flexibility: With the recent connection of Belgium, recipients can now use the FlexDeliveryService between three countries. On a national level, the service is already available in ten GLS countries.

GLS FlexDeliveryService now in 10 countries

Since 2012, Europe-wide parcel service provider GLS has been rolling out its FlexDeliveryService country by country. GLS Poland is now the tenth subsidiary to introduce the flexible delivery facility. Recipients will be informed in time of imminent parcel deliveries, which GLS will then gear according to their requirements.
